PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

HyPer C100 resin is a kind of energy-saving and environmentally-friendly lubricant which is developed by the company and is authored several patents. It shows excellent properties, including high molecular weight, no volatilization and no decomposition. It has the comprehensive functions of increasing melt flow index, increasing elongation, improving dispersion, improving compatibility and increasing loading content. The comprehensive performance is much better than the performance of a single screw ring (CBT) resin, EBS and silicone and other traditional lubricants, and it can be widely applied to PA, PC, PET, PBT, PC/ABS, PC/PMMA and other composite systems. The product meets the international environmental standards of ROHS (SCL01J004203001ER1) and REACH (SCL01J004213001ER1) under the ISO 9001 quality management system. As a leading global technology, the product has been valued and reached the international advanced level, authored more than 30 patents. It has been used in well-known companies in the United States, Italy, Korea, Vietnam, Singapore, China and other countries.

 

BASIC PROPERTIES

Solid particle or powder, the density of 1.1 g/cm3, melting range of 140-180℃, high temperature resistance, volatile-free. 

 

FEATURES & BENIFITS

HyPer C100 resin without volatilization has a low melt viscosity, and the initial thermal decomposition temperature is near 300. It can effectively reduce melt pressure and host current, and improve melt flow and processing performance. Significantly it can improve the dispersion of pigments, fillers, or glass fibers in the system and improve the surface gloss and the appearance, and eliminate shark skin and floating fiber phenomenon. It also increases the fillers loading and reduces the comprehensive cost of the product. 

 

TYPICAL APPLICATIONS

(1) Fabricating Modifiers for Engineering Plastics and Composites

HyPer C100 shows good compatibility with various fillers (calcium carbonate, talc, wollastonite, silica fume, and glass beads), fiber (carbon, glass), stabilizer, flame retardant, release additives and pigment. It has a strong wetting ability to effectively inhibit "shark skin" phenomenon in materials with the high concentration of fillers.

(2) Pigment Dispersant

As a pigment (red, orange, yellow, black, blue, purple, and so on) dispersant, HyPer C100 resin has a positive effect of improving the dispersibility. And it can make the color of the masterbatch more vivid.

(3) Rheological Additives

The addition of HyPer C100 is very slow, which can greatly improve the fluidity, melt index and mechanical properties of the blend, improve quality of products, reduce the energy consumption of blending, and can significantly reduce the current or the processing temperature of 10-20 for saving significantly energy.

   

APPLICATIONS

Example 1:Nylon composites with high loading glass fiber(≥50wt%) and high MFI.

 

Comprehensive performance of HyPer C100 is the best additive than other additives, such as CBT-100 and domestic dendrimer additives, resulting in excellent Nylon/GF composites with highly polished surface and without”Shark skin”and floating fiber phenomena, and its mechanical performance(tensile, flexural and impact strength)remains unchanged.

 HyPer C100 can increase remarkably MFI of PA-6/PA-66+50%GF blend of about 80%, effectively eliminate the high glass fiber reinforced nylon surface floating fiber problem, and all its mechanical performance (tensile, flexural and impact strength) are improved.

Example 3:Improvement of MFI of Nylon-66/GF composites

When adding HyPer C100 component is about 1.0%, HyPer C100 can increase MFI of Nylon-66/ GF from 9.0g/10mi to 30.4g/10min,it can increase remarkably MFI of Nylon-66/GF composites of about 237.78%.But when we add the same amount of CBT100,the MFI of Nylon-66/GF composites is 17.0g/10min.Therefore, we can conclude that effect of HyPer C100 was significantly better than CBT100.  

Example 4:Modification of flame retardant reinforced Nylon-6

HyPer C100 can increase remarkably MFI of flame retardant reinforced Nylon-6 of about 135% and its mechanical performance(tensile, flexural and impact strength)remains unchanged.

HyPer C100 can improve the activity of calcium carbonate and compatibility between polycarbonate and calcium carbonate, and then can increase remarkably MFI of PC/CaCO3 of about 100%. HyPer C100 can increase remarkably MFI of Nylon-6/CaCO3 of about 70%.

       

HyPer C100 can also be applied to PC, PET, PBT, PC/ABS, PC/PMMA and other plastic systems for improving their processing performance.
