HyPerbranched polyester series

1.Hydroxyl-end HyPerbranched Polyester

There are four kinds of hydroxyl-end hyperbranched polymers HyPer H10, H20, H30 and H40 according to their chemical structure. They are based on aliphatic polyester, heat-resistant aliphatic polyester, hyperbranched aromatic polyester and heat resistant aromatic hyperbranched polyester ,and which own particular properties, such as high molecular weight and high activity.Content and molecular weight their surface hydroxyl end groups can be adjusted.

FEATURES & BENIFITS

Solid at room temperature, high activity, reinforcement and tougheness, no volatile, and easy to modify and functionalized via surface hydroxyl groups.

TYPICAL APPLICATIONS

They can be used as toughening, reinforcing and curing additives of thermosetting resins, such as epoxy resin, acrylic resin, polyurethane resin, phenolic resin and episulfide resin. They are also used as intermediate of functional polymers and used in fields of pigment dispersants, rheology modifier fiber, powder coatings and other fields.

APPLICATION EXAMPLES  

      

When adding 4wt% of HyPer H302 to PP, the diameter of the spinning of PP is reduced from 5μm to 200 nm.

Sun Yat-sen University, Donghua University and several other universities have used hydroxyl-ended hyperbranched polyesters to improve the crosslinking density and the comprehensive properties of the fiber spinning. What is more, the products can also be used in the fields of filtration to improve the rheology.

 

2.Carboxyl-end hyperbranched polyester

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

There are four kinds of carboxyl-end hyperbranched polymers HyPer C10, C20, C30 and C40 according to their chemical structure. They are based on aromatic polyester hyperbranched polymer, are carboxyl-end hyperbranched polymer with high molecular weight and high activity. Its surface carboxyl group content and molecular weight can be adjusted or modified.

FEATURES & BENIFITS

Solid at room temperature, high molecular weight and highactivity,reinforcement and tougheness,functional carboxyl group,no volatile .

TYPICAL APPLICATIONS

They can be used as toughening and reinforcing additives of epoxy resin. They are also used as color masterbatch preparation and modification of  thermoplastic polymer material, such as PP, PE, PS, PVC and PC. They can improve the pigment dispersion ,melt flow behavior and decrease remarkably process current and temperature.
